A steel plate protective cover is a common telescopic mechanical guarding component used on machine tools and mechanical equipment. It is typically assembled from multiple layers of metal plates and installed on the exterior of moving parts (such as guide rails and lead screws) of equipment. Through the expansion and folding of the plates, it matches the reciprocating motion of the equipment. Its primary function is to form a physical isolation barrier that blocks external debris from entering the internal parts of the equipment, thereby protecting the cleanliness, safety, and normal operation of precision transmission components.
